Seven years teaching high school math sparked a love for technology in me. I’ve seen firsthand the ways that technology connects, protects, and engages people. Inside the four walls of my classroom, I latched on to any tech tool that allowed my students to engage, be challenged, and to grow. I quickly became the self-proclaimed spokesperson for integrating technology in the classroom, constantly recommending and guiding my colleagues through different tools. Naturally, this led to my desire to play a part in the development of such tools. Insert: Grand Circus Bootcamp! During this 6 month intensive after hours program, I have learned Full Stack development while still teaching high school mathematics full-time. Now, I am looking forward to putting my new skills to work by pursuing a career in Web Development!
