Guest Educator (substitute teacher) for the Round Rock Independent School District. University Extension (UEX) is a department of the Division of Continuing Education (now TEXAS Extended Campus) at The University of Texas at Austin. UEX provided college credit evening and online courses, noncredit courses for personal enrichment, and an annual conference, the Advanced Placement Summer Institutes, to train and certify educators to teach AP courses.Contributions included:-Served as a liaison between consultants and course instructors and the Continuing Education Department.-Worked with sensitive student information and maintained confidentiality.-Represented department at on- and off-campus marketing events to promote department’s programs.-Assisted with production of marketing materials.-Provided customer service via phone, e-mail, and in-person for academic and special programs.-Coordinated the AP Summer Institutes.-Processed payments and reconciled financial accounts.-Analyzed data to make program recommendations.-Utilized many office software programs, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Filemaker Pro in addition to learning and using multiple university-specific databases and programs.
