On completion of my Master's Degree, I became a stay a home mother for the following 12 years. During my time home, I used my organizational and planning skills to help develop and execute a large variety of school-wide and commuinty events. Eight years ago I returned to work as a substitute teacher in the Syracuse City School District eventually working as a building substitute until the pandemic began. I work in a school building that ranges from Prek to 6th grade. For the past year, I have taken an additional position as an assistant for virtual professional development for Great Minds. I use my management and flexibility skills each day that I walk into a new classroom or log into a professional development session and help it run successfully. I continue to use my skills in helping to organize and run school-wide and community functions (school dances, fundraisers, community picnics, community soccer league, and more).
