For the past few years I have had the opportunity to attend some amazing educational institutions. There I acquired knowledge and skills that would make me an asset to any hospitality and tourism company. I have had some hands on experience from the various classes I have completed. For example, I was required to take a internship class, where I was able to work at different hospitality firms and gain some experience and industry knowledge. I interned at the North Shore Marriot on the island of Oahu and Turtle Bay Resort in the housekeeping department. I also worked at the Polynesian Cultural Center in the concessions. I want to continue to apply the skills and knowledge of the industry in an internship to gain more experience.
