I am the classic small town girl with big city dreams. I went to K-State to pursue architecture, which I found to be too defined, constraining, and technical. I was more challenged and intrigued by how creatively limitless the landscape is. I love that design is subjective and there is a challenge to appeal to eyes other than yours. Although my career in design build happened because of the tough economy, it has been one of the best things to happen to me. I get to work with the crew and learn from my designs. Nothing is better than having your hand in creating something out of nothing, and having it appreciated by others. And I love that I get to do that every single day!
