ConciergeLifecircle Jul 2019 - Oct 2020Sydney, New South Wales, AustraliaLifeCircle is a national social enterprise whose purpose is to change the way people experience the last stages of life. Many people don't have sufficient choice and control over their experience, and as a result, many people do not experience the last stages of life in the way they would wish. This carries emotional, social and ultimately economic costs.LifeCircle's practical approach strengthens the ‘circles of care’ around people who are dying. We help those closest - the inner circle - such as partners, parents, sons, daughters, gain the courage and confidence to make better decisions around caring. And we help the outer circle - those organisations that people in the inner circle go to for help - build their capacity and extend their capability to assist. With strong circles of care in place, people can become better prepared and supported, more open and more resilient. As a result, they can regain more choice and control in the decision making process. This will help people to make the most of their time together, and be better prepared to help their loved one die well.Through this model, LifeCircle is building the capacity of both the community and of industry, to change the way people experience the last stages of life.LifeCircle's solutions are designed and delivered through shared value partnerships, using human-centred design, agile methods and technology. Together with our partners we are changing the national agenda around death and dying.
