Amanda provided urban design and landscape architecture services to a wide range of clients. She worked on streetscapes, parks and playgrounds, campuses, and development sites. Amanda also provided accessibility and inclusivity consulting to clients, working with large dynamic teams to improve both public and private spaces, with particular interest in making the thresholds and transitions between those spaces legible, consistent, and predictable for all users.

Designing, building, and maintaining sustainable landscapes for local residential & commercial. I provided education to our clients in order to build knowledgeable communities working together to combat larger sustainability and accessibility issues. I continued to develop and research sustainable initiatives such as local recycling, reuse of materials, native plantings, raingardens, edible landscapes, permeable pavers, non-toxic stains and sealers, biodegradable alternatives, and unique design integration. I took care of developing these ideas and relationships further as well as designing, marketing, public relations, project management, and bookkeeping.

I worked with a team of international firms on a competition to design the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Park. My role was to aid in the planning of and to produce graphics for the green infrastructure components as well as for the site ecologies of the design. I also worked on some local projects, providing grading plans and 3-D modeling of green stormwater infrastructure streetscape options.
