I recently transitioned back to teaching middle school after spending the past year with the Ohio Persistent Cyber Improvement program housed at the University of Cincinnati as the Cyber Training Program Coordinator. I previously worked with the Microsoft TEALS Program as the Regional Manager for the state of Ohio, working with high schools in Cleveland and Cincinnati to establish computer science classes (Intro, AP CSP/CSA, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science) with teachers working toward their supplemental license in CS and being supported by industry volunteers who co-teach CS classes alongside the teachers. Currently teaching three electives themed around Intro to CS, Intro to AI, and Intro to IT at West Clermont Middle School this school year.
