 Successfully conducted microbiology and chemical research daily through various techniques listed below under the specialized training section. Quickly recognized as capable and responsible, which earned the honor of managing one of the largest mouse colonies on campus, at the Cystic Fibrosis Center. As supervisor, was solely accountable for multiple monthly research projects with various physician interactions, keeping track of the colony, breeding, and individual research projects.  On call 24/7 for any colony issues and handled all high-stress situations successfully.  Initiated a variety of pulmonary projects and experiments centered on searching for a cure. Managed and tracked all gene therapy experiments with flawless execution. Licensed animal handler and worked with different animal pharmaceuticals and completed classes to earn the license to properly manage the colony.

 Successfully ensured all qualitative assurance was up to date in microbiology lab. Tested samples daily to ensure plant compliance with health regulations. The job presented new challenges each week which required me to create different problem solving techniques - factory – swab equipment – stop production when ecoli found – stop all shipments – test samples to make sure nothing infected – conduct major cleaning
