I am a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student at Mercer University, and I anticipate graduating in May 2029. My passion is pediatric clinical psychology, and I am particularly focused on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma, early childhood intervention, and psychological assessments.While pursuing my doctorate, I work as a mental health associate in the ER at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. In this role, I oversee patients' mental well-being, assist in crisis de-escalation, and provide critical support to both patients and nursing staff in the behavioral health unit.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Howard University, where I graduated in May 2024. During my time at Howard, I gained valuable research and clinical experience, including serving as a Research Assistant at the Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease. In that role, I contributed to advancing awareness of Sickle Cell Disease and its many complications. Drawing on my extensive experiences, I am dedicated to advancing clinical psychology, especially for children and adolescents from minority and low socioeconomic backgrounds. Through collaboration, research, and clinical practice, I aim to promote early interventions and trauma-informed care that can enhance lives and foster resilience.
