Following my graduation from college, I began working in the legal field which granted me the opportunity to apply and maximize on the skills I developed; namely, event planning, fundraising, teamwork, interpersonal communication, brand management, and persuasive writing . With my knowledge, business acumen and enthusiasm to learn I was hand-picked to work at one of the top firms in the Estate Planning industry in Atlanta Georgia. At my time at this firm, I learned the importance of client relations, attention to detail, and time management.This position aided me in continuing to grow my knowledge in law and provided me with a stepping stone to work as the assistant to an Executive Producer in the entertainment industry. Every day provided me with a new and exciting opportunity to showcase my ability to work on my feet in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment. My favorite part of this position was being able to provide creative input to the producers.At this point in my life, I was very proud of every skill set I developed, but most importantly my ability to read others and comprehend needs. This interpersonal skill is one of the attributes I value most about myself because I have found that knowing and being adept at understanding your audience, by means of verbal and nonverbal communication is an invaluable trait. With these strong talents, coupled with those in writing and editing, I was able to secure my subsequent and most recent position as the Assistant to the CEO and Owner of a respected firm in Atlanta.
