An expert in constituent engagement, Amber oversaw day-to-day operations of a spiritual center that merged two churches and a third congregation in 2016. She led marketing on a minimal budget, designed program content, and created events—both public and congregation-specific. She managed administrative staff and volunteer committees, authored comprehensive event manuals, and supervised payroll and accounts payable and receivable. She created policies and procedures for center facilities use and space rental by external organizations.• Passport to Summer – created and directed program comprised of 28 events over three months; successfully using elements of gamification (e.g. point scoring, competition, and prizes) to encourage participation and reverse seasonal attendance decline.• Minister’s Ordination – orchestrated protocol for 25 visiting clergy; transitioned event from theatre seating to dinner tables to a cleared dance floor all in the same space seamlessly by creative crowd direction.• Culture of Welcome – authored presentation on effective engagement of new visitors; launched volunteer recognition and appreciation to deliver skills upgrade training to volunteer corps.• Spiritual Retreat – planned and implemented day-long event that included seven unique sessions and facilitators, keynote speaker, “reflection labyrinth” activity, and healthy lunch for 50.

Amber led a paradigm shift in the way leadership views its educational outreach. Assessing youth program actual costs brought organization more in line with its mission and gave Loveland Opera Theatre a stronger foundation for fundraising. She subsequently wrote several successful grants. Amber synthesized National Endowment for the Arts and PBS information and statistics as well as extensive demographic data about LOT ticket buyers to revamp and redesign the organization’s corporate sponsorship collateral.

Amber directed operations of annual conference for women and girls (two separate programs); managed talent; oversaw board of directors and volunteer planning committee, volunteer direction, vendor and exhibitor sales, and marketing; event site design and logistics; and fundraising to support free program serving at‐risk girls.• Divas Concert – designed concert, fundraising format, and ask; served as Mistress of Ceremonies and auctioneer.• Fashion Show Luncheon – coordinated event; managed catering, and check‐in procedure; ran logistics for silent and live auctions, raffle ticket drawing and accounting.

Hired and directed assistant managers and clerks, designed and executed complex rental contracts and sales orders; processed payroll, sales tax returns, accounts payable/receivable; supervised all creative aspects of costuming; developed and computerized inventory system for thousands of costumes and accessories.

Amber founded Towne Carolers in 1988 then purchased a competing agency in 2000 to form Towne & Lamplight Carolers; managed marketing, sales, client relations, payroll, accounting, auditioning, hiring, and scheduling of several hundred performances per holiday season; sang and provided caroling quartets for Disney’s Christmas Carol Train Tour and an Andy Williams Christmas television special.
