I regularly chat live with the hosts of Monocle Daily, a one-hour radio show in London covering global news and features, about goings-on in Washington, DC, both political and cultural. Before moving to DC I appeared live on the show to chat about Boston, including updating listeners with the latest during the Boston Marathon bombings. Monocle24 radio station is a project with Monocle Magazine.

I spearheaded web content for the daily newspaper covering the North Shore Boston Metro area since 1877. I coordinated multimedia, editorial coverage, breaking news, managed a team of reporters and wrote stories of my own. The website's daily unique visitors increased 25 percent as a result of my work and I more than doubled the paper's social media following.

In August 2012, I traveled back to Taiwan for a week to speak at at an international conference and report for Foreign Policy's Democracy Lab website, a project led by Foreign Policy Senior Editor Christian Caryl that focuses on emerging democracies. I examined Taiwan's transitional justice process two decades after the country ended its martial law and became a democracy. My 1,500 word article is now used as a talking point in national conferences in Taiwan about human rights and culture.

Reported on America's history and future of energy efficiency for The Christian Science Monitor's weekly magazine and covered the trial of a Massachusetts man charged with plotting to bomb the Capitol and Pentagon for csmonitor.com, the magazine's daily national and international website.

One of 20 fellows from The Fund For American Studies' D.C. Political Journalism program awarded as a year-long enhancement of writing skills and networking with national reporters. Fellowship includes media conferences and web seminars on ethics, economic reporting and social media in journalism.
