I have happily lived and worked in the world of independent schools for the majority of my teaching career. During the pandemic, a growing need for one-on-one support for students inspired me to start Blossom Tutoring; we are a collective of expert educators dedicated to the cultivation and practice of transformative teaching. As a teacher, I am dedicated to the intellectual, social, and emotional education of the whole student and strive to live my passions by challenging and inspiring young scientists to pursue personal excellence through development and practice of resilience, creativity, critical self-reflection, and collaboration. My graduate research, focusing on adolescent development and the teenage brain, has ignited a continued pursuit of self-education in neuroscience and adolescent psychology. Through research-oriented analysis of the student experience, I utilize pedagogical practices that build trust, invoke curiosity, and nurture the limitless potential of my students, the future generations of scientists, leaders, and citizens of our world.
