This included approvals, partial approval, non approvals based on clinical information and best current evidence. Also worked with supervisor on special project of provider tier reconsideration involving review, evaluation and assessment of provider's chosen full episodes of care in investigation to see if they can move to a higher tier assignment.

Consultant Physical Therapist for the wellness program of the non-profit facility. They provide employement and recreational opportunities to individuals with mental and physical disabilities. My duties include performing monthly evaluations of the 22-24 participants, tracking progress, establishing goals and recommending progressions. This was often a hybid of assessments and partial treatments in helping the individuals in the program be able to exercise and work toward their goals.

Main duties were to review requests for further skilled care benefits and authorize based on clinical information with current clinical evidence in mind as well. Utah Physical Therapy Association

Board member on the Utah Physical Therapy Association responsible for payment and reimbursement issues for association members. This includes going to national meetings involving ACA, Health Care Reform, ACO changes, HMO changes, payment strategies, negotiation with care payers as well as communicating changes and issues to members. Act as a liaison between members and payers. Help members understand changes to health care changes and current activity.
