System deployment lead for the Army Reserve for the largest systems integration project in history. In December of 2023, the US Army successfully launched a PeopleSoft-based enterprise-level HR information management system called the "Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army" or "IPPS-A." Initially, I started as the systems integrator at the US Army Academy (West Point) to prepare the Academy Management System to integrate with IPPS-A. Then I moved to the team at the Pentagon in Arlington to lead the system deployment team for the Army Reserve. I was one of three lead authors for the User Manual, the training materials, and the Cutover Guide (instructions to field users for shutting down legacy systems and launching IPPS-A). I led weekly meetings with hundreds of HR professionals across the Army Reserve to prepare them, and then guide them through the Cutover process. I provided design and policy guidance to developers to ensure the system design complied with Army Reserve-specific needs and personnel policies. I identified several communication and design information shortfalls, then developed and executed several events involving dozens (or even hundreds) of stakeholders collaborating in person to provide necessary insights into procedures and policies, ensuring a successful launch.
