As the Head of Data Science and Analytics at Kount and EDS, I leverage my extensive experience in engineering and machine learning to lead teams in developing innovative AI and ML solutions to fight fraud, waste and abuse. Previously, as a Professor of the Practice at Wake Forest University School of Business, I applied over a decade of expertise to teach, mentor students, conduct research, and create value for businesses and society through data and analytics.Before my academic tenure, I led research and development as well as data science teams at Amazon Web Services and SAS. Over the last decade i've conceived and brought to market over a dozen analytic products, including tools for data and decision management, scalable machine learning services, and real-time solutions to combat fraud, waste, and abuse. My expertise spans applying machine learning algorithms, AWS SageMaker, Spark, and computer vision to domains like fraud and compliance, identity verification, and anti-money laundering. I hold multiple patents and publications in data science and machine learning, underscoring my passion for solving complex problems and creating impactful solutions.
