Responsible for defining and executing research projects in two categories: Technologies, and Threats.Technology projects explore new possibilities to enhance existing products, and enable new products. Examples include: behavior analytics data collection on mobile platforms; proof of concept for passive authentication evidence factors and assessment techniques; experiments to improve bot detection techniques based on device and user interaction data.Threat projects investigate current and emerging fraud threats facing digital businesses such as Credential Stuffing, Sniping, and Token Cracking. Projects seek to understand attack vectors, tools/techniques, and identify opportunities to detect/prevent attacks.

Assist teams with technical mentoring, and project planning and execution; e.g., helped Kount’s Device team migrate to DynamoDB / ElastiCache for Redis, improve metrics and monitoring, containerize Device service workloads, and establish Mobile development team to maintain and enhance Kount’s mobile SDKs.Technical leader for initial cloud migration projects which began conversion from on-prem data center, monolith architecture to cloud-native, microservices based architecture on AWS. Worked with a cross-functional project team of architects, engineers, testers, and site reliability engineers to outline plans to deliver working microservices and platform capabilities.Provided technical leadership for a series of scalability initiatives to improve availability, and resiliency for several on-prem technology components (ElasticSearch, Middleware, Secrets Management, Metrics and Monitoring).

Collaborate with development team leads, and across greater IT organization to support multiple product development initiatives within Kount. Currently leading product team to create new set of Kount capabilities.

Led development of new features from inception to implementation. Worked with feature teams to refine requirements, set expectations, and in general keep the product development group running smoothly. Worked closely with Software Architect to establish better SDLC practices and champion DevOps within the greater IT organization. Worked on small development team for R&D, and implementation of larger, riskier features such as introduction of Lucene and Elastic Search.
