In case of emergency situation, take appropriate actions as per ‘emergency procedures and contingency plans. Safely shut down the affected Plant partially or totally. To restore the Plant to normal operating conditions safely and efficiently once the situation is normalized. To record all the activities that occurred during the shift•Check all equipments performance abnormalities such as high temperature/high pressure/abnormal sound Maintain and prepare log sheets for assigned units and system covering operating data.•Provide work guidance to Junior field Operators and coordinate their activities in keeping with SOP & instructions complying with company’s HSE policy.•Prepare Daily Production Report and Consumption Sheet’ which indicates stock of various plant chemical. Communicate with Oil Movement person for preparation of crude feed tank, crude inventory/loading status.•To initiate work request for maintenance in case of equipment/instrument failure in co-ordination with field operators & shift supervisor. Follow-up work permits, take equipment/instruments out of service for maintenance and to take back in service after maintenance intervention.•Handling Plant Emergencies during the shift such as operating problems or equipment failure. •Excellent knowledge about P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram) and PFD (process flow diagram).
