Responsible for the crewing function for Self Propelled Self Elevating Jack up Barges / AHTS working in the Middle East and North Sea ensuring the safe, cost-effective and timely provision of marine personnel to the fleet, with suitably qualified and experienced personnel, as per contractual and company requirement. Responsible for all day to day crewing operations of the company • Execution of agreed crewing strategies • Implementation of new systems to ensure smooth flow of crewing functions• Responsible for effective crew planning and maintaining updated vessel rotation plans in accordance to client, safe manning and operational requirements.• STCW 2010 certification compliance implementation across the sea staff pool• Ensuring all joining crew compliance in accordance with statutory,client and company training & competency matrix.• Coordinating with Operations department, vessel's, Masters and sea staff for smooth crew change activities with least crew over stay.• Initiating cost effective measures to minimise the crewing costs

Handling all the sea based recruitment for the company’s vessels (AHTS / OSV / DP2 Accommodation Barges / HLV / DP2 ASD AHTS / ASD tugs / Towing Tugs ) . In conjunction with the operations and technical ensuring that all the vessel are properly manned in compliance with International Safety Management Code, STCW 95 standard, client’s and / or company requirements.

Involved in Planning, Organizing, Directing, and Controlling all activities related to the Recruitment and Personnel functions for the offshore Support vessels (DP2, DP1 PSV, OSV, AHTS, AHT, Crew Boat etc..)

• Handling complete Administration on Ship• Managing routine communications between Company, Charterers, agents etc. • Preparing all port arrival documents, port documents.• Handling Customs & Immigration in all ports.• Managing Charterer messages as per Voyage orders & forwarding messages as per their requirements.• Routine communication as per Charterer Party requirements[ETA’s, Loading messages, Discharging messages, Noon Reports, Arrival & Departure messages & documentation.• Preparation of Notice Of Readiness & other messages related to Arrival & departure ports.• Assisting Master & Chief Officer in Loading & Discharge documentation.• Payroll administration: Compensation, Overtime, Payments & Deductions, Allowances etc.• Post recruitment activities: Contract verification, Documents/Certificate verification, • Storage, maintaining certificates validity records.• Training: Assisting Master in administrating personnel training on Safety movies, routine drills, Safety Training.• Meetings: Co-ordinating with Master in arranging Safety meetings, general meetings onboard ship.• Handling Customs, Immigration, Health and other port officials.• Generating of month end reports and forwarding same to head office.
