About Amit Madan
17+ years of building products at startups, midsize and enterprise companies helped me learn different aspects of software design, delivery and user experience aspects of it. Currently I am leading the engineering effort to build the mcp platform at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Prior to that I was leading the engineering effort for serverless-compute as a service platform for our private cloud customers at JP Morgan Chase. Building distributed wireless networking systems with linux and C to now building serverless cloud platforms for private cloud, using Kubernetes, knative, golang and java has been an amazing learning journey. Problem solving and mentoring junior engineers to build technical skills has been a key aspect of my career.Competencies: kubernetes, knative, Golang/Java/C, cloud native applications, micro services, private cloud, distributed systems, networking, , linux.
