Worked in secondary as a business teacher. Kajonkiet offered me a promotion to head of the department for humanities which consisted of five secondary school teachers. Responsibilities included maintaining teaching hours whilst planning the weekly and daily activities for the team of teachers. Other responsibilities included teacher development, recruitment and ensuring that cover teachers were in place if required. As a Toshiba technical engineer, my role was desk-based and included remote access to diagnose and resolve a range of technical issues. Initiating processes for technical support and creating both product and procedural documentation to be used by the Toshiba support agents. Mentoring and coaching new team members to ensure that the correct procedures were followed. Dealt with ISP’s and worked with end-users to resolve LAN, WAN and OS related technical issues.
