Working in the lab of Natura Myeku at the Taub Institute at Columbia University. We study the role of the immunoproteasome in tauopathies. Specific Duties:-Develop protocol for primary microglia cultures. -Manage and maintain primary neuron cell cultures-Create and expand new cell lines-Study new mouse lines (perfuse, cut on cyrostat, IHC, confocal microscopy)-Perform and analyze western blots, native gels, flow cytometry, and other molecular techniques-Create and maintain written protocols in an ELN-Responsible for inventorying supplies and placing orders

Teach English to Chinese-speaking students in a 1-on-1 online classroom. Assess student understanding, record progress, and give feedback to parents.
