Center Supervisor assists the Director of Center Operations with daily operations at Ronald Reagan National Airport. Manage the volunteer program, prepares reports, and conducts executive communication. Identifies/recruits volunteers to handle some administrative responsibilities. • Ensures volunteers are used effectively, enhancing work environment and reducing the paid staff workload. • Assists the Director of Center Operations in developing advertising, funding, and marketing of program operations--may include providing informational tours, developing copy for materials, handouts, news releases, pamphlets and brochures.• Supports programs such as OCS, TAPS, Snowball Express, USCG Holiday party, and others as needed.• May serve as a USO spokesperson on airport-related topics. • Prepares written correspondence to keep volunteers informed. • Drafts executive correspondence, including donor thank you letters, tax-deductible receipts, and submitting USO airport news for inclusion in a quarterly USO-Metro newsletter.• Prepares monthly statistical reports to include guest traffic and volunteer hours. Also prepares a monthly financial report, itemizing expenses and donations, both cash and in-kind products/services.• Conducts vendor relations.
Center Coordinator
Responsible for the coordination and distribution of all tickets through out the DC metro area. In charge of vendor relations with all of the major and minor sports teams in the area, including but not limited to the Washington Redskins, Nationals, Capitals, Wizards, DC United, The Baltimore Ravens, Orioles, The Potomac Nationals and the Washington Kastles. Maintains a positive relationship with the business offices of all of the theatrical venues with the area. Has increased the distribution of information to USO metro eligible service members by over 3000 people. Works with the entertainment department in securing attendees for high profile events, including but not limited too sporting events specifically for Active Duty service members. Maintains 100% accountability of an average of 300 – 1000 tickets for multiple different events at any given time. Responsible for coordinating the maintenance of the Fort Belvoir USO, including but not limited to any Department of Public Works work orders and all Information Technology (IT) support for the building. Orders and maintains accurate purchasing of food items for the center on a weekly basis. Required to resources with local vendors for support with all non-covered repairs for the appliances within the building. Coordinates all room and building reservations marinating a 100% satisfaction rate by patrons, increasing foot traffic and building usage by 5% overall.
