Each year in the program, I worked on a research project that investigated Collaborative Strategic Reading in schools with high percentages of English Language Learners. I was project coordinator for a study that examined a literacy intervention for bilingual 1st graders. I also taught an undergraduate course on differentiated instruction in elementary classrooms. My dissertation examined the questioning practices of three 5th grade teachers during their small group reading instruction of their low and average groups.

I taught students with special needs in pull-out and inclusive settings.

At THS I taught pre-algebra and interpersonal communication skills.
