I am a Pastor in the ELCA currently serving St. James Lutheran Church in Lake Forest, IL. I graduated from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in May 2015. I graduated from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration in 2013 with an A.M. degree and have my license to practice Social Work in Illinois. I am interested in the intersection of ministry and social work and thinking of ways to bring a systems perspective to ministerial work. The majority of my work has been with older adults and I am passionate about intergenerational programming and experiences that offer opportunities to enable older adults to remain independent and active. I know the value of personal connections and a caring community for all populations. I believe faith communities are one paradigm in which many people find belonging and deep care in a changing world. I hope to nurture and develop more places and spaces like that in my future work.
