Manage editorial content for The Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) and JADA Foundational Science (JADA FS).Act as the main liaison with the journals’ publisher—Elsevier.Work with both editors, the editorial assistant, and publisher’s staff to ensure all manuscripts for JADA and JADA FS are received, reviewed, accepted, processed, and posted in a timely manner.Track progress of each accepted manuscript in a custom Excel spreadsheet. This includes managing invites and arranging housing and flights, food and beverage, and audio visual.Take and distribute meeting minutes.Participated on the JADA transition team for the move from publishing JADA in-house to Elsevier.Onboarded 2 new editors for JADA and new associate and section editors. This included orientation and training.Launched JADA Foundational Science in 2021. Was involved in the development of author guidelines, Editorial Manager site setup, style guide development, design, and editor and associate editor onboarding.
