As a steadfast, innovative, and energetic leader, I co-founded UP for Women and Children after conducting careful research into the needs of women and children experiencing homelessness. Since its inception in 2018, I have spearheaded the center’s development, transforming UP into a cornerstone for community safety and support. My passion and previous business leadership have combined to create a thriving, evolving organization recognized for its dedication and holistic approach to meeting our community’s needs.With over seven years at the helm, I have cultivated an innovative nonprofit organization known for its robust community partnerships and collaborative achievements. My background in business development spans 20+ years, including a meaningful period working in my grandfather’s manufacturing and import business, where I gained valuable insights into the business world. I hold degrees in Psychology and Justice Administration from the University of Louisville and am a graduate of the Leadership Louisville program. In 2023, my efforts were recognized with the Louisville Business First Nonprofit Visionary Leader Award, celebrating my commitment to the community and my ability to inspire those around me.I am unwavering in my mission to create positive change and drive impactful results.
