R1 (previously Accretive Health) acquired the Ascension National Revenue Integrity Team in July 2016. -Design and implement data-driven revenue integrity initiatives and process improvements to increase revenue, efficiency, and compliance for hospitals nationwide-Provide research, analysis, and recommendations regarding regulatory compliance issues-Conceptualize and create queries in custom SQL database to analyze revenue cycle data and identify charge capture, coding relationships and pricing opportunities-Collaborate with clinical and finance teams to implement increased reimbursement strategies and prepare summary materials and presentations-Analyze claims using modeling databases to ensure proper reimbursement aligned with the payers’ respective contracted terms and rates-Interpret managed care contracts and create reimbursement rules in contract and modeling databases-Mentor and coordinate workflow for new analysts-Lead small project teams
