• Provided strategic leadership for the Academy’s business and stand-alone CME meetings as well as AAPA’s Annual Conference, comprised of 10,000 attendees, 300 education sessions, concurrent business meetings, and affiliated events; and 250+ exhibits, and corporate relations activities (adjunct symposia and product theaters), both independently and in conjunction with supplier partners• Oversee clinical, scientific and volunteer development education and ensure best practice for adult leaning and content delivery (one example: Interactive Case Presentations where attendees dive into a case, role-play with other PAs and arrive at the diagnosis)• Introduced new technologies to enhance attendee participation and experiences prior to, during and following events of which some also served to measure learning outcomes • Implemented web-based systems for marketing, abstract management, registration, housing and exhibit management • Develop, solicit and execute over 100 stand-alone unbiased continuing education programs, each funded session is sponsored and certified for CME credit by AAPA.
