In this role I am responsible for the day to day management of the safety and claims department for 3 companies as well as drug test management of an additional 2 companies. A break down of these responsibilities include but are not limited to, maintaining and managing all claims as well as our claims database software, worker’s compensation claims, hours of servce, company and driver compliance with all FMCSA requirements, maintaining all federal as well as multiple state DOT regulations, CERS and BIT regulations for California, managing all drug testing and physicals, accident reporting/investigation, DOT violations and safety training for all employees running under our authorities. I am available to help edjucate all drivers on best practices and answer and safety related questions.

During my time at Stericycle, I have been promoted from local dispatch into the position of transportation supervisor. My responsibilities include, managing a team of 25 drivers in 3 seperate locations across Missouri and Illinois, and local 2 office staff, maintaining a full fleet of straight trucks as well as several tractors and trailers. I am tasked with maintaining excelent customer satisfaction for over 1000 customers, answering to several regulating agencies, daily communication with the plant regarding waste processing and loading supplies, auditing manifest and DOT documentation daily, routing all customer efficiently using RoadNet, maintaining my departmental budget, and other duties as assigned.

Responsible for assisting in reviewing and submitting new bids and contracts, quoting new business projects, providing all necessary international paperwork and documentation for all overseas projects, working with publishing companies, building products into our database, providing invoicing, and answering and assisting with AR questions as needed, finding and implementing new procedures to improve accuracy of orders and customer satisfaction, daily customer phone calls, travel as needed to visit and develop customer relations.

Responsible for managing inventories in warehouses throughout the US, order processing, scheduling and supervising hotel and restaurant installations, quoting new projects using blue prints and purchase order listings, developing new forms, documents and procedures to improve day to day operations and customer satisfaction. In the past year, I have increased personal customer base by 300% while maintaining 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsible for maintaining schedules for five drivers, keeping knowledge of DOT law and regulations, scheduling routine maintenance on vehicles, creating departmental policies, scheduling installs with outside customers, obtaining permits when needed, invoicing and quoting customers, maintaining billing records, customer service, and other general office functions.
