As a founder of two political action committees (PACs) and a nonprofit organization, I leverage my 20 years of experience as a retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel and a former fighter pilot to advance the causes of democracy, security, and leadership. I have successfully raised millions of dollars to support candidates and campaigns that share these values and counter the threats of election denial, sedition, and authoritarianism.I also apply my expertise in national and global security as an instructor and professor at the University of Kentucky Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce, where I teach graduate students about the grand debates and the nuts and bolts of the national security state. Additionally, I am a prolific writer and speaker on topics related to military force, foreign policy, and women in service and politics, with publications in The Hill, USA Today, and Newsweek. My mission is to create a path for women who have led lives of service and encourage them to run for office with honor and action.
