About Amy Reed

I have a passion for working with people and helping both employees and employers grow; whether that is in their careers, as a company, in developing job skills, or more. I served in the military (Army) for 7yrs and that, I believe, has given me some life lessons to take with me moving forward. I have worked for Boeing, where I finished up my Bachelor’s in Business Administration, to staying home with my kids and raising them. While I was home I also received my HR Management degree through UMUC. When I was ready to go back to work I found a company who took a chance on me in their recruiting department, after being out of work for over 6 years (almost the length of my military career). With changes in the company that we’re foreseen, I was then able to find my current company; who once again took a chance on me and I am so glad that they did!!! I am now going to start working on getting ready to sit for my PHR, so here’s to the new year and new growth ahead!!!
