Since its founding in 1872, Broadway Church has stood strong in KCMO as a force for justice and equity. Today, the congregation is taking steps to embody their mission of inclusion in new ways, to be a centering point in the community so all can experience healing through love. I am so excited to be leading them into innovation!

I show bright, talented people who are tired of second guessing themselves how to embody radical self acceptance and spiritual connection to make life easier and more fulfilling.

- Facilitate improvisational practice to help groups and individuals find spiritual, emotional and physical health through dance, storytelling and music.- Maintain long-term mentor relationships with students aged 16-75 years.- Shape overall education strategy in collaboration with colleagues and Executive Directors.- Schedule, organize and publicize weekly classes

- Leadership training and development of regional program organizers for Body Wisdom, an international non-profit arts organization- Monitor program success, reporting directly to Executive Directors.- Develop print and digital marketing strategy- Establish and maintain strategic community partnerships

Sanctuary for the Arts is a spiritual community rooted at the intersection between art, faith and social change. We believe that by embodying creativity and grace through the arts, we can heal pain that has been caused in the name of God/religion.

- Managed all human resources related tasks including benefits enrollment and education, payroll, new staff orientation, volunteer orientation and training - Manage finances for entire organization including annual budget preparation, donation processing, bill payment, payroll and taxes. Maintain financial records via QuickBooks.- Facilities management including event schedule coordination with partner organizations, worship set up, ordering office and worship supplies and managing building repair contractors.- Coordinate communications between committees, determining action items and delegating appropriately.- Design digital marketing and social media strategy

- Planned, organized and managed multiple web design and development projects of varying scope from proposal request through site launch- Managed account billing, communication and documentation for website development, launch and maintenance, coordinating with clients and technical teams.- Provided strategic web development and social media consulting, technical support and training procedures to clients and coworkers.

- Designed and implemented all positive youth development programming for youth ages 12-18 in 3,000 member congregation in downtown Kansas City- Wrote and taught curriculum for weekly youth meeting - Organized monthly service projects and social events - Trained and managed adult volunteers- Created annual youth programming budget, managed donor outreach and development

Learned the ins and outs of running an international non-profit, taught classes, performed, and was mentored by the Cofounders.

Updated alumni/ae data, helped coordinate the annual alumni/ae dinner, processed donations, made cold calls to donors, helped compile reports for WASC accrediation.

I sold Season Ticket packages for performing arts groups such as Berkeley Symphony, Smuin Ballet, SF Playhouse, etc.

Performed Carla DeSola's original choreography through out the Bay Area.

I shadowed the Senior and Associate Ministers, assisting with Pastoral Care. Teaching Bible Study and Vacation Bible School, Preaching, leading workshops, event planning and social justice advocacy were also responisibilities I held.
