A trial lawyer for nearly three decades, I represent businesses in a wide range of complex litigation. I also help businesses resolve their conflicts with early case evaluations, risk assessments, and negotiations – often promoting resolution before a lawsuit is filed. Building on my early experience as an environmental, safety, and health regulatory analyst at Pennzoil Company, I represent energy clients in a full array of litigation, including commercial, environmental, trade secret, and maritime matters, among others. As a late-blooming runner, I have successfully completed 11 marathons – including the Boston and New York marathons. I bring the same tenacity, focus, and discipline from my training to my clients’ cases. I dig into each case to learn about my clients’ goals, their businesses, and their needs, and then leverage that knowledge to create a strategic plan to win. My primary goal is to reach a resolution that is a true win for my client, whether that be through trial or an advantageous business settlement. I graduated magna cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center and earned my B.A., with honors, from Cornell University. I am a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, and I am honored to have been named a Texas Super Lawyer for several years.
