As a trial and arbitration attorney, I handle a wide range of commercial disputes for energy companies in the refining and petrochemical industries, from contract disputes among small businesses to the dissolution of complex, international joint ventures. At the appellate level, I challenge and defend judgments for clients in federal and state appellate courts on various complex issues. Litigation is not one-size-fits-all. I firmly believe that investing early in the comprehensive analysis of any case is the best strategy for success. Understanding the strength of a case can present creative opportunities for resolution before going too far with a client’s time, money, and effort. A combination of logic, analysis, and creativity has always been a driving force for me. Prior to earning my J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, I graduated magna cum laude in Economics and Philosophy from Vanderbilt University. I also served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Edward E. Carnes in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
