blaanc is a design team created in 2008 and founded on a friendship that hails from university years.After winning three international awards, blaanc's work is divided between Portugal, Brazil, Mexico and Ghana and includes international conferences, exhibitions and more than 70 publications worldwide, from Brazil to India, USA or Sweden. One of blaanc’s main goals is to keep working with rehabilitation, as well as sustainable building and eco design.Over the past few years blaanc has increased the experience in retail design working with brands like Lacoste, Levi's and H&M .

Orikomi brand was created in November 2013 and is based on developing products that blendorigami techniques with lighting.Orikomi products, inspired by clean lines and geometric shapes, are carefully handcrafted, inLisbon, Portugal, using high quality paper with a wide variety of colors.Ana Morgado and Carmo Caldeira, both with an architectural background, are responsiblefor the brand development.Orikomi lamps, as highly recyclable products that promote the use of energy-saving lamps,make a statement as an alternative lighting solution with low impact on the environment butwith a high impact aesthetically.Since its creation Orikomi sells worldwide, through several shops with the largest volumeof sales taking place in Europe and in countries such as USA and Australia. Adobe for Women was a non-profit humanitarian association founded in January 2011.It was based on three fundamental pillars: Construction, Sustainability and Empowerment. It seeked to build sustainably for those in need and at the same time promote the use of tradicional construction techniques.The goal was to build 20 sustainable houses in the indigenous village of San Juan Mixtepec, in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca. The houses were for 20 women in difficult circumstances who participated in the building process. They slowly appropriated their future home and simultaneously have found their self-esteem, work abilities and hope that transformed the spaces into safe, caring places for their families. The houses were energy efficient and built with local materials such as adobe and bamboo. Each house cost only 3 830,84€ (the price of half a square meter in Paris or Amsterdam or a square meter in the Baltic capitals). With great joy, in 2016 the association accomplished the proposed goals of building 20 houses for these 20 women.www.adobeforwomen.pt
