Working for one of the departments of the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences I create, update, and process changes and/or terminations to employment appointments and other documents to meet payroll deadlines.Initiate event payments in the payroll system.Accurately fulfill payroll functions such as updating salaries/hourly rates, processing new hire employment forms, as well as, existing employment records and/or contracts.Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain updated annual and/or seasonal employment forms/agreements.Process I-9 forms and E-Verify for the department.

Own payroll process transmission on a biweekly basis for over 900 employees for the AlamedaCounty.Manage new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, promotions, transfers, reclassifications,vacation sell requests on a weekly basis.Deliver payroll-related reports; deductions reconciliation to support payments to vendors and settle invoices.Calculate final checks gross pay, overtime and other supplemental pay and pay adjustments.Process wage garnishment and levies in accordance with regulations as prescribed by regulatoryauthorities.Conduct research to resolve payroll and benefit related problems and identifies solutions; provideassistance to employees on payroll and benefit related matters
