  As Deputy QRM, Ana helps teams manage business risk by ensuring compliance to firm risk management policies and procedures, while achieving an appropriate balance between risks and controls and the strategy. Ana was selected to participate in the Deloitte Management Development Program (MDP), a leadership development program for high-performing professionals and served as the MDP to the Regulatory & Operational Risk Market Leader. In this role, she worked closely with the Market and Solution Leaders to monitor the growth, development and strategy of the Regulatory & Operational Risk Market offering.Prior to this role, as a manager in the Governance Services practice, Ana advised executives and board members as they sought to improve their corporate governance and ethics and compliance programs, across a number of industries, with a primary focus in financial services and consumer and industrial products. Ana also contributed articles to Deloitte LLP’s Center for Board for Effectiveness “Hot Topics” newsletter series and industry whitepapers, focusing on critical matters that impact the board agenda.From 2004 to 2008, Ana was in Deloitte’s audit practice, where she served and supervised the audits for multinational public companies in the manufacturing and consumer products industries. In this role, she managed all aspects of auditing and financial reporting, including evaluation of compliance with technical requirements and research of accounting topics reporting and regulatory issues. Ana also facilitated communications and collaboration with international colleagues to meet foreign reporting requirements.
