Collaborated with colleagues managing supplemental grants to ensure appropriate resource allocation at the local, state, and national level as well as local Health and Human Services departments, State Refugee Coordinators/ Health Coordinators, federal benefits enrollment offices, and tertiary social service entities. Completed 33 APA Minor Desk Reviews as management staff of the national resettlement agency that processed a majority of APA arrivals including 44 client interviews and 50 of case file reviews; independently completed one Major Desk Review of resettlement site in the U.S. with the highest number of Afghan arrivals and co-led one Major Desk Review of the site with second highest arrivals in the U.S. Provided continuous oversite to affiliate sites with highest number of resettled Afghans within the resettlement sector (12, 547 arrivals out of 69, 173 nationally) during unprecedented rebuild of the national resettlement infrastructure through a humanitarian crisis model; trained staff of key differences throughout transition back to typical resettlement model.
