• Ensure the efficient running of the mobile equipment maintenance department, operating within the Policies, procedure and systems. • Supply a maintenance department that strives to ensure that all equipment within the mobile Equipment fleet is maintained to optimise availability at the lowest total ownership cost. • Ensure equipment and components are maintained in accordance with company policies, Procedures, O.E.M. guidelines and best industry practice. • Monitor work flow, work quality, job completion and completion delays. • Coordinate engineering activities with other departments and contractors. • Maintain budgetary control through continuous diligence. • Develop & implement PM improvement measures to increase maintenance efficiency with Quantifiable results. • Identify and analyse premature component / equipment failure, utilising root cause and tap root analysis. • Continual assessment, review & recommendation of current maintenance contracts and contractors compliance with contractual agreement. • Perform employee assessments. • Ensure all required testing and safety checks are carried out and recorded as required. • Ensure that equipment and tooling within the maintenance department, is compliant with all statutory and legislative requirements. • Ensure adherence by employees and contractors to all safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines. • Develop and implement appropriate training and mentoring for personnel in all positions within the department. • Demonstrate by personal example, absolute compliance to safety, health & environmental policies & procedures, with an emphasis on hydrocarbon disposal and management. • Implementation and execution of all tasks and instructions as directed by the Engineering Manager. • Ensure ABG core values for the business unit are integrated into all aspects of BGML’s operation and management.

• People management to ensure that the mines operations are not suffered. • Responsibility of interacting with various linked department for the smooth mining operations.• Responsibility of Maintaining 4 mines of Copper cobalt.• Monitoring of closing Maintenance orders of previous day to keep maintenance plans running and benches clean up.• Reviewing next day and weekly schedules for maintenance and backlog.• Arrangement of parts for PM and backlog jobs.• Monitoring with the supervisors for ongoing work to make sure they are being completed or their needs.• Managing and monitoring daily emergency/ breakdowns.• Monitor the training program for planners in SAP.• Maintenance and Management of various Inventories required to run the operation without any failure.• Daily review of reports for equipment management and work order history• Daily review and Monitoring of Shut down scheduling of equipment• Maintaining and monitoring equipment register in management system, including creating new equipment, updating information and disposal of equipment information• Document Manager creation and maintaining- Electronic documents(operating manuals, maintenance manuals, technical drawings, parts lists, etc) linked to Equipment, Standard Jobs, etc. in computer management system.• Developing and monitoring PM schedules and instructions for newly arrived/purchased equipment.• Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly maintenance work schedules in cooperation with assigned area supervisors and senior supervisors.• Supervision of part inventory levels for areas assigned and assist warehousing/purchasing with forecast usage/stocking level.• Monitoring disposed off equipment record in SAP.• Attending Daily/weekly planning meetings as needed.• Preparing the planning for 12 weeks/one year for planned component replacement in SAP.

Accountabilities: Monitoring the team of Engineers to ensure the higher availability of dumpers to achieve set production target. Sustaining higher reliability, mean time between failures through proper maintenance and resources mobilization. Ensuring appropriate material planning (spares and general stores) for obtaining higher reliability and availability. Overseeing the optimum utilization by use of technique like PERT / CPM / bar charts. Handling condition based monitoring along with breakdown analysis to increase the engine life. Carrying out repairing & maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment especially for Dumpers of 50T and 85T. Monitoring engine overhauling section of Dumpers. Guiding spare parts planning through inventory control technique. Supervising quality assurance cell section for analysis of various breakdowns of Dumpers.Highlights: Consistently attained all set production target every month by maintaining Dumpers availability more than 85%. Effectively minimised the downtime of Dumpers by keeping sub-assemblies ready. Successfully enhanced the engine life maintained through constant monitoring. Actively involved in executing spare parts planning to get required spares in time without building up inventory. Played a pivotal role in enhancing the average engine life of Cummins engine from 10000 hours to 12000 hours and for other engine achieved by over 12000 hours. Instrumental in eliminating the engine failures between overhauls. Abridged the consumption of spares parts by successful modification of parts supplied by OEM. Acknowledged and rewarded with a appreciation letter by the company due to cost controlled in spares.
