Helped plan open streets events to help address active transportation, urban land use, and public health needs through car-free streets in LA.

San Francisco

As an intern, my main role was to help plan the largest annual event within the city of San Francisco, Bike to Work Day. Two other events that I worked on included Bike and Roll to School Week and Walk and Bike to Worship. My main tasks included planning and executing logistics for the events, securing in-kind donations for participant incentives, scheduling and training committed volunteers, and advocating for increased bicycle use throughout the city.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

My role within the office headquarters included managing the front desk, creating and distributing letters to the top Habitat donors, and updating the social media websites. For weekend build days, I participated in choosing local housing locations to create affordable housing for low income families as well as managing volunteers.
