Senior Sustainability Specialist
At EnergySolution I work with CO2 mitigation for industrial clients, Sustainability Assessments via Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). The starting point often is creating and calculating industrial energy- and mass balance. With that point of reference, I’m working cross professional with and for clients and use input/output LCA and foreground/background systems for SimaPro. I am skilled in both communication and dissemination of tailor message to our clients and delivers the results and outcome of my research in a respectful and proper manner. EnergySolutionEnergySolution is an Engineering Consultancy with about 30 employees in Denmark. We are a ‘Gazelle’ company with a clear growth strategy and a strong set of values. We are proud of what we do and our ability to create tangible environmental solutions for our client that support them on their mission towards a more sustainable future. By optimizing systems and processes for our clients, we enable them to great improvements on their energy footprint, for instance when it comes to mitigate waste, or using environmentally friendly materials. Furthermore, we also ensure that our clients can document the achieved improvements towards authorities, stakeholders, and clients.

Innovation Manager
Transforming science concepts into ingenious and innovative solutions makes my engine running. At Food & Bio Cluster Denmark I worked with both Intrapreneurs and Entrepreneurs and especially linking them with the relevant knowledge institutions, EIT Seedbed partners, investors and so on. I’m a certified examiner at both University of Aarhus and Copenhagen NEXS. Through that work I have a unique collaboration and access to researcher, scientist and other innovative individuals relevant to the danish food and bioresource industries. With a background in agri-food innovation, agri-food value chains, and microbiology I have comprehensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects, management and linking the agri-food industry to best practice both nationally and internationally. I have a special interest in sustainability and analytical and tangible experience in calculations and assessment of a full value chain via life cycle assessment (LCA). This passion for sustainability has given me knack for innovation and development which I contribute to the agri-food industry.
Senior Specialist
My work within applied science at DTI was centered on e.g. fermentation and sound technical insights. I understand, advise and adjust production in different companies’ production lines. My main tasks was trouble shooting in technical systems with focus on e.g. biofilm removal and mitigation or development of new production types and production technology. Further, I have more than five years of experience in product development in e.g. FoodtureLab where DTI develops and produces demo productions of novel foods and beverage concepts for clients. My main tasks were seeking and developing new application solutions and novel beverage for clients.
Senior Consultant
My main objectives at AgroTech (a division under Danish Technological Institute) was Biofilm mitigation in Food and Beverage productions systems, Brew, and agriculture production (e.g. Chick and Hen production systems), development of Cradle to cradle (C2C) business opportunities and project management. I have a flair for politics and excellent personal and intercultural skills as I am capable of communicating with people at all levels within an organization. Development of business opportunities based on sound scientific background and innovative solutions for clients are among my main interests. I primarily worked with solving agro- and food industry related problems. As an Innovation Agent (“InnovationsAgent”) I promote innovation in small and medium sized enterprise (SME) with special focus on technology. I produce innovative solutions in the areas of sustainable business development, cradle to cradle, and beverage innovation. Specialties: Project management (e.g. Prince 2), biofilm control in technical system, biofilm development and mitigation in food and beverage production system, control and illumination of microbial growth, application of nanoparticles in industrial systems, climate change mitigation through lifecycle assessment (LCA) & cradle to cradle approach to product innovation. And finally promote new scientific result and knowledge with a broad audience through training of studens, conference presentation and commercial seminar.
Scientific Researcher
At iNANO my main R&D objective were to develop surface coatings for the food industry and to reduce bacterial attachment in production facilities. Further, I worked on development of functional surfaces that are easy to clean. The overall objective was to study, and generate a deeper understanding of the different aspects of bacterial adhesion, and biofilm formation. Many bacteria adhere to surfaces form biofilms and are difficult to eliminate because they attach firmly and irreversibly to a surface. Biofilm are difficult to remove by physical means, and the industry invests large sums into cleaning and avoiding biofilms. I investigated how structural properties and functionalization of Sol-Gel surfaces with e.g. embedding different nano particles affect bacterial adhesion and retention. Some selected results are that we were able to develop and produce Sol-Gel surfaces which fewer bacteria adhere to compared to stainless steel. Bacterial adhesion was further reduced by adding nano particles, and roughness is probably the most important single factor.
