I work in strategic purchasing in an international environment with responsibility for the categories cables, batteries and filters to Getinge Solna. My job involves leading a supplier team, which implements strategies and develops the suppliers within my categories. A large part of my work takes place in cross-functional teams within development projects. I also put considerable work into contract and price negotiations. Through this, I have high competence in, for example, supply, development and quality agreements. In 2020, I was part of the team that enabled Getinge to deliver three times as many respirators than a normal year. A significant contribution to healthcare in the fight against Covid-19. During the last four years, I have reduced costs for batteries by about 10% through dialogue and cooperation with the main supplier. In the cables category I’ve initiated a transfer, which has resulted in significant cost savings, improved logistics and better quality.

During this time I worked with different projects in business development and did different business cases with analyzes. The role involved performing analyzes of possible acquisitions, partnerships and external development assignments. I conducted negotiations regarding business opportunities and presented the result to management for decision. I participated in four due diligence processes, two of which resulted in acquisitions.
