I am the personal assistant to Mark Jurgens the Director, as well as a senior administrator assisting with the following :We mainly specialise in wealth creation with unit trust investments. We do a lot of offshore investments and the tax clearance applications and locking in of rates to transfer these funds. We have very low fee structures that have been negotiated with specific Investment houses who also have our model portfolios in use. I also do risk business in the form of life cover etc. with various insurance companies. I prepare detailed portfolio schedules and reports relating to their overall portfolio. My role is as one of the senior administators to the Director Mark Jurgens, and I mainly deal with the offshore investments and shares and fund switches. We work closely with the clients to ensure their portfolio has the best fee structures and cover, and to bring down the costs for the client.

I worked at D.A.B Broking Services cc as the Office Manager, Short Term Underwriter and Long Term Administrator. This involves preparing quotes, analysis and proposals as well as submitting of new business. I am also in charge of handling an Employer Provident scheme with Liberty. On the short term side, I am the underwriter for personal and commercial lines which includes amending current policies, preparing quotes and the issuing of new business as well as any queries to be resolved. I mainly deal with Western National, Mutual and Federal, CIA, and Discovery on the short term side and for Life and invest with Liberty Life, Discovery, Hollard and Old Mutual. Occasionally I get involved with claims and sectional title insurance. I also manage the office and staff to make sure everything runs smoothly and I handle any complaints.

Personal Assistant to the CEO and Managing Director, as well as a Paraplanner. This involves setting up appointments, preparing quotes, general administrative duties, Financial Needs Analysis and all the work before the brokers see the clients. Companies we deal with include, Altrisk, FMI, Liberty, Old Mutual, Discovery (life, invest and health) and Momentum to name a few. I also process the New Business for one of the brokers.

It involved setting up appointments with professionals for the Advisor selling insurance for Sanlam Cobalt for Professionals as well as all administrative duties and liaising with clients.

I was employed as a Tax Clerk, where I was responsible for personal Income Tax and registration of companies for VAT and PAYE.
