I managed the daily operations, marketing, and business development for two highly specialized and internationally recognized plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Responsible for creating concierge care program for domestic and international traveling patients in a boutique clinical setting.

I served as the lead practice coordinator to plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Rebecca Studinger, who specializes in microsurgical breast reconstruction techniques for women after breast cancer. My role was to help establish the new business, oversee all daily practice activities, and manage projects in networking, marketing, and growth. During my time, I had the opportunity to gain exposure to many different facets of a surgical practice from clinical to administrative management. My greatest accomplishment was the coordination of the world’s first identical-twin tissue transfer surgery for DIEP flap reconstruction and autologous lymph node transfer performed simultaneously by Dr. Studinger. This involved advocating for the donor and recipient patients to their respective insurance companies and externally appealing to the state level in order to get the surgery approved and paid for by each patient's insurance company. I was also closely involved in overseeing the clinical management of all before and after care aspects for the donor and recipient patients.In addition to the daily management of the practice, I created presentations and educational materials on advances in plastic surgery techniques that were presented by the surgeon in professional seminars, hospital Grand Rounds, local television, print and radio news outlets, and community outreach engagements.
