I am a professional conductor and singer, with 25+ years of experience, who decided to launch a non-music small business during the pandemic. In 2020 I began rescuing, refinishing, and redesigning used, worn, broken, and unwanted pieces of furniture. In 2021, I created my YouTube channel, Furniture Fables by Andy, and it has grown to just under 80,000 subscribers. It is a true "edutainment" channel, where I love to bring folks along with me as I repair and redesign these unwanted pieces, while telling their story. My channel is a bit different than most DIY channels; there are favorite characters who often pop up, parody writing, and lots and lots of music.I am also an experienced Vocal Director within the Bay Area theatre community with a Residency position, and a demonstrated history of collaborative work in music, theater, and education. Skilled in Producing and Project Management, with attention to detail and Public Speaking. Outstanding communicator, creative thinker, and leader with a Master's Degree from Yale University.
