Mama Hope is an NGO focused on collaboration and human-centered development. As a global advocate, I am working with Malkia Foundation, a community-based organization for women's empowerment, in Vihiga County, Kenya. Through education, support, and resources, Malkia creates opportunities for women and girls. I have committed to raising $20,000 to help support the start of their new all-girls STEM school, to encourage and enable girls to join these male-dominated fields, and to thrive in any capacity.

Health in the Hood is a non-profit that implements and maintains community gardens in food deserts around Miami. By working directly with the community, the programs have sustainability. In addition to the gardens, health education, nutrition, and fitness workshops are organized for the children and families in the community.

I lead the FIU chapter of GlobeMed, along with an executive board of 11 students, leading weekly general member and executive board meetings. I work with our partner Escuela de la Calle in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to improve conditions in the community by implementing sustainable programs geared to prevent health care issues after research done with the grassroots organization. I work remotely with the interns working on-site in Guatemala to ensure a successful on-site work internship.
