Working in the End-User Technology space, we are responsible for the design and delivery of desktop computing to enable employee productivity across the Liberty Mutual Insurance organisation. We enable and maintain core productivity applications to ensure an optimised end-to-end device and personal computing experience.

I also provide hardware and software (Empower) support to Laboratory Systems and users.- Provide 1st & 2nd line technical support within an ITIL IT Service desk function, ensuring response and resolution of all incidents are within Service Level Agreements.- Support of IT infrastructure including but not limited to Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Windows Desktop 2000/ XP/7/8.1/10, Avaya analogue & IP telecommunications, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, end-point devices (PDAs / Smartphones / PCs / Laptops / Printers) and network infrastructure (WAN / LAN).- Facilitate service recovery after an incident is reported or identified and monitor critical IT services to ensure events are pro-actively managed and service downtime minimised. As part of my University Study I completed a 15 month Student Placement role working within the IT Services Delivery team, this consisted in providing Level 1 technical support to 1000+ desktop users remotely and through on-site visits. My key roles consisted if performing daily data centre checks, backup operations, and troubleshooting and resolving computer related issues.
