Leadership of the corporate organization that provides franchise owner support to the system of educational childcare centers in multiple states. Works directly with the CEO in the planning and execution of long-range goals including growth and development of the franchise system & growth of the corporate support team. Guides new franchisees through the steps to center ownership, from the sale and construction of new centers and resale opportunities within the system. Coordinates and implements four weeks of new owner training which includes HR regulations, Wage & Hour Law, state childcare regulations & licensing, grant funding, financial reporting, daily operations, and brand compliance. Manages external support programs with partnering agencies including website management, insurance, and educational supplies. Reviews monthly financial reports and operating metrics for each center location as well as the corporate entity to track the financial and operational performance of the system. Involved in all aspects of growth and development including site selection, architectural design, construction, and licensing of new childcare centers. Opened the newest center in Bradenton, Florida in December of 2020. Discovery Point Mooresville in Charlotte, NC is currently in development and scheduled to open in Spring of 2024. Since 2019, closed sales in two new markets and closed five resales in current markets, adding new franchise partners for each of these childcare centers. Serves as a board member of the Georgia Child Care Association advocating for protective childcare policy and legislation that supports the owners and teachers in the care and education of children.

Leads the corporate support team in support of franchise partners in the operation of individually owned childcare centers in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina. Tracks the cost and performance of effective franchise support programs including Marketing & Advertising, Quality Assurance & Compliance, Curriculum Implementation, and Business Operations.New owner liason involved in all aspects of guiding a new franchise partner through the steps of ownership from the signing of the franchise agreement, through training, to the grand opening of a new center. Brand ambassador representing Discovery Point Franchising at Sales and Development Trade Shows, NAEYC, IFA, and the Georgia Child Care Association.

Responsible for business and operations training in childcare for new franchise center owners in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia. The four week training includes two weeks onsite training in a center and two weeks of classroom hours covering all aspects of daily center operations, state licensing, DPFI owner and personnel policy, ITERS/ECERS/SACERS, business operations, and marketing and lead management. Onsite teacher training and support to centers including Creative Curriculum implementation, and state approved courses in Intentional Teaching, Lesson Planning using GELDS, Behavior Management and STEAM focused child-directed activities.Creation of the 2014 new franchise equipment package to meet the highest standards of ITERS/ECERS/SACERS for materials. Taught courses offered in Early Childhood Education including Introduction to Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Health, Safety and Nutrition, Curriculum Development , Teaching of Math and Science, Teaching of Music and Art, and CDA Preparation and Advisory. Placed and managed practicum and intern teachers in Georgia Funded Pre-K, childcare, and elementary school classrooms. Provide detailed feedback in the form of observation notes, post-observation conferencing, and performance rubric.

Acted as coach and candidate supervisor for teachers employed under a provisional teaching certificate working toward earning a clear renewable certificate under the state guidelines for TAPP and One Year Supervised Programs. Observed teacher candidates in the classroom and offered feedback for improvement based on Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching. Assesed the candidate's daily, weekly, and long range lesson plans and evaluated each candidate's Taskstream Online Portfolio in the areas of planning, classroom environment, instruction, student assessment and achievement, and professionalism.
